He is quite annoying when it comes to the fact that Usami and Misaki are dating, but he still is a cool guy, and everything. He did actually try to taunt Misaki and not once. He is Akihiko’s brother’s friend, so he knows Akihiko quite well, he discovered that Usami was good at writing novels, and he is the boss of the editor house for which Usami writes. In a way we could say that the way he tries to divide them is in the best interest of his own work, or perhaps the fact that he wants to see how strong is Misaki’s love, or who knows why, maybe even because he just wants to have fun and making Misaki angry is fun. He tried, he failed and he ignored it.
